One of my favorites is Abuhan Restaurant, near Fuente Osmena Boulevard; they serve the best Bulalo (Puchero in Cebuano dialect), boiled beef shanks (think Osso Buco) in tasty broth. Eaten with steamed rice and accompanied by a squeeze of a kalamansi (a native lime) and a splash of Patis (fish sauce), the Bulalo, with some chunks of beef, tastes so good. You can also try their sizzling version of the Bulalo/Puchero served in an iron platter. I really enjoy the delicious and rich broth every time I visit Abuhan Restaurant.
