Having had such a good dining experience at the Calypso's in Biloxi we were anxious to try the one in Vicksburg. Located in the Isle of Capri Hotel and Casino, the buffet restaurant overlooks the Mississippi River and we were lucky enough to get a table by the window each time we ate.
The main attraction of the Friday night buffet was Alaskan King Crab. There was also boiled shrimp, creole fish (delicious), fried fish, along with baked and fried chicken for those non seafood lovers. There was also a huge salad and dessert bar and plenty of vegetables to go along with the entrees. The fried okra was especially good. The breakfast buffet also included an egg cooking station, where I had the chef cook my eggs over easy. The lunch buffet also included a number of seafood items, including a seafood casserole that was absolutely delicious.
