This is the cheapest place in Tikal to eat, but in my opinion, it’s also the best. Here you'll get away from the tourists over at the Jaguar and Jungle Inn and finally have an opportunity to struggle your way through that tiny bit of Spanish you managed to remember from high school. The food here is basic but filling.
Best of all, the atmosphere is casual, so sit down and enjoy a beer while you look at all of the pictures and maps that line the wall. You can also learn a bit more about the excavation of the Tikal Ruins.
