The menu of La Bella Italia features your traditional Italian hits like pizza, lasagna, pasta, etc. If you are ordering take-away, the large menu is posted right next to the bar when you enter. I ordered a small pizza with ham and cheese toppings to-go. It was boxed for me within 10 minutes of my order placement, so the service is very prompt. The pizza had a decent thin crust, but the chunks of ham, cheese and tomato sauce made for a disappointingly bland flavor. The small pizza is not badly priced, averaging about 5 Euros depending on your choice of 25 different toppings, but it's no substitute for a lavish turkey dinner (I was "celebrating" Thanksgiving 2002 on this evening). Still, it is food nevertheless.
Having said that, having a pizza at his casual joint is a good in-between dining choice if you aren't in the mood to eat tapas at a bar or have a fancy dinner at a finer restaurant.
