I took my visiting friend here to get some rösti (typical Swiss fare), wurst, etc. My friend had recommended the place, but I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. The service was pretty bad. We didn't get our drinks until AFTER we had finished our soup. The food also wasn't too delicious. I've had better vegetable cream soup and käserösti elsewhere. That said, the prices are a bit lower. Still, I'd rather spend another 5 francs for delicious Swiss cuisine.

It still could be a nice place to stop for a drink when it's warm out, and you can sit outside in the Bärenplatz. And my friend said that the wurst was good. They had below-par rösti I think.

Meals average 15 francs, and drinks are between 3 and 5 francs.

Rösti is a typical Swiss food that can be eaten as a side item or as a main dish. It's pretty much like hash browns, and you can have it with cheese (käserösti) or bacon. Those are the most common things to add to it.
