This is the only oceanfront restaurant in Monterey County with great ocean views and excellent food, and even some early bird specials are available. Lots of great choices for breakfast lunch or dinner. I would recommend it for a variety of reasons. It's a great stopping point to catch a whale, have a cappuccino on the outdoor patio, romantic dinner with the love of your life, or even get married if you want. I have been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and it is still one of my favorite places in the world. The staff take good care of you, and almost every table in the house has an ocean view of some sort. The baked potatoes are huge!! They have something on the menu for everyone, and in the evening, it is particularly romantic, as they have floodlights which illuminate the rocks and ocean, which is spectacular. Serving breakfast, lunch or dinner, the restaurant sits high atop a bluff. Every seat in the house has a stunning view of the mighty Pacific Ocean. Breakfast features classics like eggs Benedict or the Buccaneer's Bounty-chicken and apple sausage or bacon with three eggs, country potatoes, toast, coffee and juice. For lunch try one of the South of the Border items, soup or salad. The dinner menu features steaks, fish or seafood barebecued over mesquite.
