Sarasota offers several options for Japaneses and sushi, but the locals know Kiyoshi's is the best combination of location, value, and quality. Located in the middle of Main St, Kiyoshi's doesn't offer anything special in the way of decor. But everything else is always perfect. Good service, especially from Kiyoshi at the sushi bar, complements the fresh and well-prepared food. Very good sushi and cooked Japanese meals of all kinds are available. The Tampa Roll is definitely worth a try, but I'd definitely recommend trying a little of everything.
