Got a craving for something sweet? I certainly did one hot and humid summer night (90 degrees F. at night!). I wandered downtown in search of a little dessert and saw two young girls walking towards me carrying very tempting waffle cones and icecream. I had to ask where they got them and they pointed down the street.
Of course, I went. Kilwin's has delicious, homemade ice cream and candies. Several cases contain an assortment of sweets, and two hold ice cream. I ordered a large scoop of peanut butter chocolate ice cream with a sugar cone - very rich, and chocolatey-peanutbuttery, as it should be! For the next several days, I noticed that there was always a long line of locals - a true testament to the quality of Kilwin's!
