The Hard Rock is just a block or two from the Horseshoe Falls, on the second floor of one of the larger buildings on Falls Avenue. As you climb the stairs, your ear drums begin to cringe from the pumping base, and you realize you’re not twenty-something anymore. Naturally, the kids loved it.
We had a significant wait for a table--probably close to 45 minutes. During that time, we bought some T-shirts and looked at the rock memorabilia. This made the wait seem shorter than it was, and we eventually got seated in the Elvis Room. The food was good and reasonable, considering the location. I had the salmon, and the rest of the family had steaks. All the meat was cooked as ordered, and our service was reliable.
The relative quiet of the Elvis Room gave us a chance to talk about the trip and what we had enjoyed the most about the falls. While the food was good, the most important thing was the time the four of us spent together in this unique environment.
