This venue on the golf course is a delight to visit for lunch in winter - you get the place almost all to yourself. They feature local foods done right, like scrumptious Walleye. Their northwoods motif is very pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing, not to mention rustic and authentic!

We had a great meal at Antlers. I had a broiled walleye filet with vegetables, potato, and salad. My wife had prime rib with the same sides. Our three children ate with us and had a very normal children's menu with typical fare--spaghetti, pizza, chicken fingers, etc. The food was excellent. The portion of walleye I received was huge and very well seasoned and prepared. The wait staff was very attentive and did their very best to make sure our evening was perfect. We had received a coupon for a free strawberry dessert. After eating our meal, we weren't hungry for dessert, but our waitress was more than happy to package the desserts (five of them) to go, and we enjoyed them a few hours later in the comfort of our unit.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is semi-formal, but they have a relaxed feel about the place. All of us attending that night were dressed semi-casually for a fine place.

It was a very enjoyable night out as adults, yet they were able to provide for our children as well.

One could easily have a romantic candlelight dinner for two there.

The log-beamed structure is a highly romantic venue for a dinner for two (or 3 in our case). The menu has a variety of American dishes, some with a northwoods twist.

We had the salmon steak and a chicken breast with a wine sauce. Both of our main dishes were great. Before we got to the main course, we had asked for 2 refills of the homemade rolls due to their great flavor. We also had a chicken wild rice soup and a Ceasar salad, respectively. Both were all we expected.

The nicest suprise of this dining experience was when our 6-month old started to get fussy during our main course. The waitress took him and walked him around the resturant for at least 10 minutes. She was still able to serve her other tables, but gave us a greatly appreciative break.

This is a must when staying at Breezy Point.
