As the name suggests, this is a coffee place. Located close to the road, one would think that this this little coffee shop doesn't really have that much of an appeal. Besides, there are dozens of coffee shops elsewhere in Baguio which are much more popular and more strategically located.
But the Klatch has the coziness and comfort that any stressed out psyche would welcome. Your first steps into the establishment would not really sweep you off your feet since the lighting is a bit too dim and there's not much to see. Actually, there's nothing extraordinary about the place until you climb the spiral staircase. Above, you can pick your private cushiony area, and I would really recommend the first sitting area on you left from the stairs. You'll get your little wooden table with a really comfy couch you can drown in. The lighting would really put you in the mood - relaxed, unhurried, stress-free. Sounds boring? Don't worry; the coffee will keep you awake.
The staff does take a while to brew your drink, but it's well worth the wait. It comes in a cute mug, and hardly any two designs are alike, which adds a bit of interest to your drink. The coffee is great, lots of flavor and richness.
Aside from coffee, the Klatch also offers pasta dishes and sandwiches, and there's quite a variety to choose from.
This place only serves alcohol on Fridays, I think. On certain days of the week, they also have live piano and voice performances. It's great for small group gatherings since the ambiance does set the mood for bonding and relaxation.
This will not be your typical night out.
