This was a very nice place to dine. The food was very good, and the price was not too bad. They had a very good wine list. I would like to return to this place. Oh, the Blackend Grouper was to die for.

The atmosphere is perfect: chandeliers, comfy upholstered chairs, nicely set candlelit table. A place to take your time and enjoy a good meal. The menu had a variety of American Cuisine including chops, steaks, and fish. The prime rib was good, but a little overcooked. The salad was excellent with a nice variety of fresh greens. The dessert was dissappointing; artificially flavored strawberry mousse. The service was terribly slow but polite.

We also had a buffet breakfast here. We arrived an hour before closing. It took 15 min to bring out more eggs and they never refilled the pancakes because it "was too close to closing" even though there were 5 tables of people eating. The juices were fresh, the breads and pastries delightful. The price was under $10.

They also have a beautiful outdoor area that isn't open at all times, but would be lovely. It overlooks the grounds and pool in the distance.
