The sounds of live calypso music was enough to convince me to dine here. Once I walked in it was like I was transported to Key West. It is like a Caribbean oasis in the middle of the desert. It is a little kitchy but it is cute. The drinks are pretty expensive but then they are pretty strong. We sat on the patio and it was really nice. They even have fans overhead and the music added to the atmosphere. The menu has quite a bit of variety and is of course on the tropical side. We had lobster bisque to start. It was a little on the salty side for me but my friend really liked it. I decided to have a couple of appetizers as my meal. I had the coconut shrimp and the cerviche both were OK but neither was outstanding. The best part of my meal was the key lime pie but then it is pretty hard to mess that up. My sister had the seared ahi and my friend had the jerk chicken both were pretty well seasoned. My friend really liked the place but my sister and I felt it was a little over priced for what we got.
By the way it is located on second story of a very nice open air mall. Nice upscale shops.

A surprisingly wonderful restaurant located upstairs of the Tommy Bahama store. I have been here several times now and every time the food and service are superb. The menu is varied, so everyone should be able to find something to love. The decor is wonderful, so much so that you could just think you've been transported to the Caribbean. It is a bit pricey, but so are a lot of places in Palm Springs. The food is very fresh and wonderfully prepared and presented.
