It was great. The food was very tasty. My husband had the surf and turf, I had grilled halibut, and my child had the appetizer of king crab legs. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. The decor was pleasing, and the only negative was that we were seated beside a large party that got a little loud. They had a good salad bar. They even had Killian's Red in the obviously Yuengling country.

Alaska Pete's is a steakhouse and saloon. The atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy. They have fireplace seating if available. It's very rustic inside, sort of like a log cabin. They have a salad bar and serve steaks and fresh fish among other things like chicken, burgers, etc. It is a little bit pricey if I remember correctly, from $12 and up. They have two big screen TVs for sports. I had ordered their chicken when I was there, and it was a little bit on the dry side. Everything was pretty tasting though, and we had good service. One of the few places we went back too in the area. I'd go back if we were in the area again. Give it a try.

The food was excellent. I had the prime rib and it was done to perfection. The beer was extra cold, just the way I like it. My wife had shrimp alfredo and thought it was very good. They have an excellent salad bar with all the trimmings. Alaska Pete's has a great atmosphere and a friendly staff who is always checking to see if you need anything.
