Fredericksburg is filled with quaint little Tea Rooms, Deli's, German restaurants, even a Brewery. McDonalds, Sonic, Dairy Queen and Subway are also easy to locate. But all we wanted, when tempertures were soaring into the 100's was Ice Cream. Peaches is a small outdoor cafe that serves homemade ice cream and bottled water. There is also a small stand with local produce there. Located next door to the Nimitz Museum. The Ice Cream was of a ice milk type texture, but very good. A Peach orchard 9 miles out of town is the source of this home made goodie!
