Boston's on the Beach

Boston's on the Beach

My first Delray Beach/Florida experience, after the short trip from Ft. Lauderdale, was dinner at Boston's on the Beach. We dined on the upper deck, where we had a fantastic view of the ocean and beach.

Boston's caters to a hip clientele. Lively bars, both upstairs and down, keep customers well-sated while they wait for a table. Live music is on the schedule most evenings. Special events are advertised on the restaurant's website: www.bostonsonthebeach.com.

I had the grilled salmon, which was just delicious. We also shared a very good crab cake appetizer. I don't understand why I was never able to order a mojito in this part of Florida.

Dining at Boston's is one of the greatest experiences in Del Rey. You sit on the upper deck, watching A1A, the beach, the waves, the men and women in all sorts of attire, and the world go by below you. Whether you're eating local stone crab or breakfast, it's one of the best dining experiences you will ever enjoy.

This is where the action is. Good food at a good price. Watch sports. Go for Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, or the bands. There are more locals than tourists, so you get a real feel for the Delray crowd.
