The first night in town and it was off to try the local cuisine. The resturant has a great atmosphere for both families and couples. The food was excellent - a definite good choice if you want to try local food. If you like your drink, try it by the yard! My husband about fell out of his chair when they brought out a yard of shots to our table.

Alus Arsenals (translated as beer arsenal) serves Latvian food and a wide selection of beer. The atmosphere is very cosy (cellar with white painted walls), and the service is excellent! The selection of background music, though, is not always a success.
