As you enter the Inn, a large comfortable seating area with sofas and a jigswaw puzzle that challenges you to fit in a few pieces.
The dining room meanders into three rooms plus a closed in porch that's great for people watching.
The waitstaff is efficient, friendly, knowlegabl,e and very helpful in helping you choose between the appealing entrees. These range from Chicken Oscar, pastas, Seafood Cassoulet, Roast Duckling, Veal Imperial served with lobster and spinach, Rack of Lamb, and Beef.
We chose Beef Tournedos - two petit filets - one in a demi-glace sauce and the other in blue cheese sauce. A nice contrast, and they are topped with fried julienne of leek and sweet potato and accommpanied by a potato chive cake. A great choice.
Entrees range from $15 - $23, appetizers are in the $6 range, and desserts are $5. An extensive wine list and full bar service enhance the great menu.
The "Suds Pub" - downstairs - opens at 9pm on weekdays and offers a pub-style menu. On weekends they start early - 4pm - for apres-ski with entertainment later in the evening.
You are sure to enjoy this restaurant for a quiet romantic dinner by the fireplace - or even the Pub for casual fun.
