A Wilmington tradition since 1956. One of the best burger joints in the region, The Charcoal Pit specializes in burgers and ice cream. Long a hang out for local school kids, everyone goes to 'the Pit.' Go for the 1/4 pit special - comes with fries and a triple thick, artery clogging ice cream shake.
