Great Food and the Best Salad Dressing Ever

I was never one for artichokes...that is, until I dined at Pearl Street Pasta. The chef prepared a pasta dish with a light creamy sauce and fresh artichokes good enough to write home to mom. the perfect balance is the house salad, served with just enough of their house dressing-- a mildy sweet vinagerette. Did I mention that this is the best salad dressing I ever enjoyed?
Fantastic Job done by Pear Street Past
We had our son's rehearsal dinner at Pearl Street recently in Oxford. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and very roomy for our guests. The food was top notch, served hot and very quickly...which is hard to do with a big crowd. Eddie and Sandra are so gracious and were so great to work with. They made the night a huge success. We have received so many nice compliments from our friends about the food and service.

One of the newest additions to Oxford's dining scene, Pearl Street Pasta lives up to its billing of being the best Italian food around. Decorated with modern art work and nouveau furniture the restaurant itself is as eclectic as the menu that they serve. With everything from traditional pastas to in house specials that take Italian food to a new level, you're sure to find something that you'll enjoy. The prices are slightly steep but certainly well worth it. I can recommend the shrimp and crab meat penne pasta as well as the shrimp and crawfish pasta. Take a look at their wine list if you're looking for a fine bottle of Italian wine to match your meal and keep an eye out for their featured vineyard. The friendly staff, great food and the ambience created by a nice blend of light jazz and easy listening music make this one of the more happening places in this small Mississippi town.
