This is just off the main pedestrian walkway and has the typical décor that you expect of a Hard Rock Café. There is a bar where you can just have drinks if you so wish and a two-tier eating area. The Rock paraphernalia is scattered all round, although there isn’t a guide to it on your table as there is in London. There is also a sound system playing current and classic tunes, with accompanying videos on a large screen.
The menu is almost identical that in London, New York, Toronto, etc., except for amendment of all the pork dishes. When in a Hard Rock Café, I invariably go for the 'Pig Sandwich', but in Egypt, this had been changed to a lamb sandwich. I opted for a rather safe beef club sandwich instead. The other difference to the menu in London is the prices. The prices were every reasonable with the two of us having a main course and alcoholic drinks for 100 EGP.
There is also the obligatory Hard Rock shop selling T-shirts, sweaters, pins, and jackets for considerably less than you would pay in London or New York.
