Most of the buses pass by Penang Road because this is such an important road in town, where it's near KOMTAR.
There are many restaurants on this road, but KEK SENG COFFEE SHOP serves extraordinary local dishes. This is the place where you can try various local foods, from ASAM LAKSA, LOBAK, and CHOW KUAY TEOW to CHICKEN RICE.
The price ranges from RM2.00 to RM3.50. You can enjoy the food in the very old coffee shop, with a lot of locals.
Besides all the yummy food mentioned above, you can also try POH PIAH at RM1.00 each, which is mouth-watering enough to ask for more!!
Don't forget about the Chow Kuay Teo stall outside the restaurant too. Most of the people missed that, but don't!! That's fantastic!!!
