The "A Bar" at Renaissance Hotel (a 5-star restaurant) in Powai, Mumbai, is a a nicely done-up bar with a pleasing ambience. They have a nice array of cocktails, wines, and beer on the list, and they'll fix you a cocktail of your request if the ingredients are available. They make sure that they keep you plied with cashews and peanuts while you are enjoying your cocktail or beer. The bar has a limited but well-put-together menu that ranges from nachos to chicken tikkas and kebabs. On most of the days, they have live music, and the singer has a great voice. It's a good place to relax after a long day's work or travel. The staff is very helpful and courteous.
The prices for the drinks range from $5 and upwards. The prices may seem steep if you live and work in India, but if you are travelling from the U.S. or any other country, the prices are comparable.
