I had heard great things about Tupelo's. I can now say that I highly recommend them. It's a very cute café that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had breakfast and it was very tasty. I had the sweet potato pancake. It was a first for me, but very delicious. The coffee was hot and the orange juice fresh. Make sure you give yourself time there as the wait can be very long.

This is a fun little place with outdoor dining. Come early for a seat or put your name in and wander around for 45 minutes. It has a unique offering of items such as omelettes with your choice of ingredients, shrimp, grits, many salads, hot pimento cheese dip, and even grilled cheese with tomato bisque. They have homemade biscuits with raspberry jam, and expect to be filled up after one of those. It's a popular dining place in the center of it all. If you can't wait to get in here, many go over to Mayfels, which has good food also, just lacking the same atmosphere.
