Grills: A Great Dinner at a Great Price

Grills came recomended by a former classmate who now lives in Cocoa Beach and by our hotel desk staff. Both said it was the best seafood in the area and we had a great meal. It is off the beaten path at a marina on the Canaveral Barge Canal. We were told if you get there around 4:30 p.m. you can see the cruise ships depart. One of us is not a seafood person but thoroughly enjoyed the grilled mahi and island veggies and rice. We both thought the food was great and intend to return on future trips. Grills will be a regular spot to bring guests who come and visit us.
We ate outside as there was a nice breeze. They also have a deck and tiki bar for some drinks while waiting for someone, watching the ships leave port or a few after dinner drinks.
Dinner for two with soft drinks and tip: $47.00

All the locals we asked mentioned this restaurant. It's very casual riverside dining for a good value. There is live entertainment. Fishing boats are docked nearby, so I'm sure the seafood is fresh! We especially enjoyed the shrimp. The restaurant is right on the river, and in addition to the fishing boats, the casino and cruise ships go by.

A great local spot with fresh fish specials daily. It's very busy on weekends, so get there early or plan to wait at least an hour, enjoying a few drafts! Live band most nights while we were there. A great spot for breakfast as well. We took two teenaged boys and were able to fill them up for under $5 each! You can print a discount coupon off their website here.
