The Tuck Box

The Tuck Box. Yes it looks a bit like a house out of a fairy tale, and in fact, it was built with that in mind, but this is one of the best places to eat on the whole of the West Coast.

The Tuck Box serves breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. If you plan on going for tea, make sure that you arrive early as the Tuck Box is always full of people from all over the world clambering to get inside. It's reputation is well deserved! To see more, check it out on the web at www.tuckbox.com. I guarantee that if you try this place, you will want to write your own review of it.

I would not recommend this place for families with young children. It is a small place, very cramped, and doesn't hold children's attention well. I would recommend eating here for anyone else.

Tuck Box English Tea Room

Built in 1925, The Tuck Box looks like a charming storybook English cottage. Breakfasts are especially good here. The breakfast menu offers waffles, pancakes, French toast or eggs served just the way you like them. Their delicious scones have been a Carmel tradition for over 50 years. The scones satisfy your needs for a perfect light breakfast or snack. For a light lunch, one of their soups or salads is always a splendid choice. The Tuck Box is open for breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Sunday.
