219 - an eponymous address in Norfolk, this local favorite has helped make Granby St. the premier dinning district that it is today.
The menu, which is hard to define, is just like the setting – funky and eclectic. With a mix of Mediterranean and Asian flare, you’re likely to find anything from crawfish cakes and bread pudding to fresh fish accented in a lemongrass sauce.
The big draw however, are the crab cakes – some of the best in town. A high-energy place mixing creative foods, modern art (combined with a few portraits of Elvis), a lively bar crowd, and a happening lunch scene. Expect a wait.
