Cafe Rosso is our favorite restaurant in Norfolk. Even though it is not set in a busy part of the city, the restaurant itself is very nice. It has very modern decorations and attracts a very diverse crowd. There is outside seating for the warmer months. They have many different wines and microbrew beers available. Also, there is an extensive gourmet pizza selection, with a wood fired pizza kiln set facing the dining area. The pricing is not bad for the quality of food and the atmosphere. We have never made reservations and haven't had to wait for more than ten minutes ever. It does get crowded some nights though. They have an upscale bar to sit at while waiting for a table, so it's not so bad. The staff has always been extra friendly. Great place to stop in for dinner!
