Gulf Shores State Park Lodge

The Gulf State Park hotel has a buffet restaurant. The morning buffet is quite popular. With huge windows facing the Gulf, it's a relaxing place to enjoy the quite sizeable breakfast buffet (but they also have lunch and dinner and seafood buffet on Friday). It's not fancy and a little kitsch with the marine decoration but it's affordable and the food quality is good.

The lodge at Gulf Shores State Park offers reasonably priced, filling meals in a comfortable atmosphere. Buffets and menu service are both available. It's an excellent value for the money. (Check out the corned beef on the breakfast buffet -- it's NOT the canned stuff!) There is a time for fine dining, but when you just want a solid meal without breaking the bank, this place heads the list.
