The crab cakes appetizer was served with a home made remoulade sauce that leaves my mouth watering just thinking about it!!!. The She Crab soup, my all-time favorite at this restaurant, was served hot and steamy with a side carafe of sherry. (There is just a hint of cayenne pepper that spices up this wonderful version!) The garlic mashed potatoes and side vegetables were well seasoned and beautifully garnished. The mahi-mahi with crab and shrimp was served broiled and basted in butter. The fish was so tender that it literally melted in my mouth! The shrimp and grits are absolutely the best I have had anywhere! (Grits made with heavy cream are a Southern dream!) The coffee was good, but very strong and the crème brulee cheesecake and Key Lime pie were to die for! The best things about this fine Southern restaurant are collard greens they offer free to every table (if you are visiting from up north, these are the Southern collards you want to try!) and the martini menu! Everything about this meal surpassed this restaurant's competition in the Columbia Vista.

The most memorable part of this experience was our server. We were completely impressed by him and the rest of the staff. The service was even better than the food during this visit. We will definitely return to this restaurant.
