A northern Italian menu is available at this restaurant in Mountain Village. La Piazza is owned and operated by the duo who opened Rustico in Telluride. Since the sidewalks in Mountain Village are not crowded and the summer weather was quite pleasant (with no humidity) we sat outside but the spacious interior of the restaurant looked quite charming. The pasta e fagioli had too many beans but the large portion could have been a full meal on its own. I hardly had room for my main course, which was Risotto al Salmone. I managed to force myself to have the Budino ai Cioccolato, homemade Italian chocolate pudding, for dessert and it made the meal; it was amazing.
