When we arrived at Manny's Pizza, the place was packed, much like the other restaurants we had tried to get into on that Saturday night. However, Manny's only had a 20-minute wait compared to the 2-hour wait everywhere else in town. While we waited, we played video games and pool. When we were seated, we looked at the large menu, unsure of what to order. Then a pizza was brought out to a neighboring table--homemade crust and sauce, fresh toppings--and I have never seen such a pizza in this country before. That made up our minds immediately, and we ordered pizza and garlic cheese bread.
Although we had to wait about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, it was worth the wait. We had friendly service and enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. Once we received our food, the verdict was officially in that it had been worth the wait. The pizza was divine--it was a close second to the best pizza I have ever had, which came from Italy. Clearly, this is GREAT pizza. The garlic cheese bread was also tasty, although it wasn't anything to write home about. Manny's is a bit expensive, but completely worht every penny. Also, there are free coupon books available around town which contain a 10% off coupon for Manny's. This pizza was so good that we had to order it again on our last night in New Smyrna.

The pizza dough is homemade and excellent. We had a large four-item pizza and Manny's was generous with each item. The pizza was delicious. Manny's also offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Menu selections are plentiful.
