The Jailhouse Cafe was formerly the actual jailhouse in the town. The three best dishes served for breakfast are: Buttermilk pancakes, omelet dish, and eggs benedict. They roast their own coffee beans, which makes for some of the freshest cup of joe.
If travelers stay overnight in Moab, forgo the lodging's continental breakfast and head for the best breakfast around.
You'll be singing "We're in the Jailhouse, now" from O Brother Where Art Thou before you know it.

Excellent egg dishes and coffee. We dined there twice, enjoyed every egg dish we tried. I did have the French toast one morning and didn't care for it as much as my companion's egg omelet.
But the coffee is amazing.
Outdoor and indoor dining facilities - appropriate for a place where tourists flock during the warm parts of the year. Friendly staff, and did I say amazing coffee?
