After hearing many positive recommendations on Grubsteak, we've decided to try this place out ourselves. Needless to say, we were not disappointed with it at all.
Here is a family/dining restaurant that strives to please its customers. Believe me, I know. I had an incident that only proved to me just what kind of place Grubsteak really is. Here's why I think so highly of them.
We've been to Grubsteak twice. The first time I ordered a cheeseburger. Once I took a bite and looked down at my cheeseburger, I noticed it was pink. Well, this gal doesn't eat ANY kind of meat that is pink. No siree. I have to have my meat well-done. Anyway, after getting all choked up on that first bite, our server noticed there was something wrong with my food. How could he not notice? I was literally crying. Anyway, to make a long story as short as possible, he was so wonderful. He immediately took my "raw" hamburger away and brought me a well-done burger. Bless his heart!
It was our second time there at Grubsteak that I've noticed on the menu where it states they serve their meat medium rare, unless requested otherwise. Needless to say, I felt bad about our first trip there, because I didn't see this on the menu the first time around. It was my fault the meat was served medium rare. Boy, I felt bad. A lesson that was definitely learned.
My family and I would definitely come back to Grubsteak again and again. After our positive experience, how could one not? Thumbs Up!!
