Big Horn Restaurant

This popular spot on the west edge of town is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have a deli and will make sandwiches for your day's activities while you're at breakfast. We ate there twice and both times had a short wait for a table. Service was good and meals arrived quickly. Voted best breakfast in Estes, the menu ranges from omelettes to pancakes, biscuits and gravy to burritos.

They're famous for BBQ, and the smoker is located outside so you get a whiff driving by. Hickory smoked ribs, chicken and pulled pork are favorites. You can dine on buffalo or elk burgers, Rocky Mountain trout, Italian specialties, steaks and chicken. There's also a soup and salad bar - nothing fancy.

Judging from our two visits, Big Horn is definitely a popular spot for family meals at great prices.
