Plume of Feathers

  • September 29, 2003

The Plume of Feathers appears to be a typical pub from the outside, yet its interior has been smartly remodeled to form an elegant yet welcoming backdrop for a pleasurable dining experience. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, and the menu offered a variety of meat, poultry and fish dishes featuring attractive and innovative yet familiar presentations. The restaurant is obviously popular with the local diners as well as those from further afield (Truro is only eight miles away), particularly on the weekend when it is difficult to procure a table without reservations. For American diners who are accustomed to eating earlier, tables are almost always available when the restaurant opens at 6pm.
