This Conch stand is located on the beach behind the Island Seas Resort. A local gentleman (Zonk) has this Conch stand to sell the many conch varities of the Bahamas. The flavors of conch are the following: Crach Conch, Zonks Special, Steam Conch, Stew Conch, Conch Souse, Fried Conch Salad, Grilled Conch, Conch Burger, Grill Conch, Pan Fried, Scorch Conch and Conch Salad.
We tried the grilled conch and it was excellent. It's a little chewy because a Conch is a muscle out of a conch shell. Zonk cooks the conch right in front of you while you wait at the stand. A must to try!!
