La Casa de las Margaritas is located in the La Isla shopping complex in Cancun. The decor is definitely Mexican with brightly colored walls, tablecloths, and tables and chairs. The staff wears beautiful costumes. During dinner, guests are entertained with a variety of live Mexican music. The menu offers a large number of choices including seafood, chicken, beef, and pork dishes. Entree prices range from approximately $15 to $23 USD. During our several visits to this restaurant we have had the beef and chicken fajitas, beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce, metzli beef tenderloin, garlic shrimp, and Las Margaritas chicken. All were wonderful. The key lime pie was delicious as was the cheesecake.
Service is excellent; everyone always has a smile. A photographer visits each table for a group photo (and provides the sombreros for the photo). The photos can be purchased in a frame or made into a label for a bottle of tequila or mezcal (with the worm). We usually do not participate in those photo opportunities, but this time we decided to give it a try. The photo turned out great and we chose the tequila!
