HighlandsLynne's explodes with color. Toys litter the tables and an endless array of novelties adorn the walls & ceiling. For example, there is a macaronni map of the U.S. You can spot the colorful zoo of animal sculptures outside from blocks away. Breakfast here really does make you feel like you're in paradise. Items include piles of sourdough biscuits and gravy with unusual additions like dill, (vegetarian or no) and bloody Mary's that are almost a meal by themselves, loaded with olives, pepper beans and garnished with dill pickles. The glass rims are encrusted with parmesan. Another menu hi-light is their thick French toast with chocolate raspberry sauce.
Lynn's is usually crowded but always worth the wait.
