Flamingo Joe's Grill and Seafood

While in town for a business meeting, I was looking for a lunch spot that was both quick and good. I found this spot by asking local residents for their recommendation. Great decision. Some of the locals referred to the place as "Jennifer's" (the co-proprietor). Good food, quickly, at a good price.

There is an extensive lunch menu including great burgers, sandwiches and platters (including seafood). The "Surfin' Big Bird", a grilled chicken breast sandwich topped with grilled shrimp and melted provolone cheese, is typical of both Flamingo Joe's and of the seafood orientation of Panama City Beach.

The environment is informal, even rustic - your 'napkin' is a roll of paper towels at each table!; you seat yourself at whatever table is available, and order and pay at an inside window, like a fast food restaurant - after this point, though, you get table service. Worth repeat visits. The complete menu is available online at flamingojoes.com
