A long-time favorite of locals, Chutney's offers a unique mix of Indian food on half the menu and Mediterranean on the other. The Mediterranean is generally Greek. It's owned by a nice couple often found assisting the wait staff.
Nothing is bad on the menu. I've tried at least half of the dishes, and all are pretty solid. There is a good availability of vegetarian dishes as well. There is a casual atmosphere and dress code, just all-around comfortable. They have a good beer selection, and wine is also available.
Chutney's is located on Hillview near a variety of other good restaurants and nightlife. The region is often called Southside Village.
