Kimo's

Kimo's is casual, quintessential, and Hawaiian -- a superb restaurant. You should see the oceanfront view and Kimo's spectacular sunsets. The best time to see a sunset is 6-6:30pm. Try the unforgettable prime ribs. They have the best prime ribs on Maui. Kimo's is renowned for its fresh Hawaiian fish. For the keiki (children) they have tail-wagging hot dogs. The parents should try the lava flow. For dessert they have the famous Kimo pie--an ice cream and cookie crust with topping. Every night they have Hawaiian music. The unforgettable memories start at Kimos.

Dining options abound in Lahaina, a historic whaling town located minutes from Kaanapali. Kimo's on bustling Front Street is the spot for freshly caught Hawaiian fish. Ono, Ahi and Mahi-Mahi are just a few of the seafood selections. Prime rib and Polynesian chicken are also excellent choices. You may have to wait a long time for a table at Kimo's, but don't fret. Enjoy a cocktail in the bar area, and watch the waves crash onto the shore. Dine during sunset for spectacular oceanfront views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. At the end of your meal, savor the restaurant's signature dessert -- Hula Pie. It's a gargantuan slice of chocolate pie topped with macadamia nut ice cream and fudge. Yum.
