If you haven't been to Little Annie's, you haven't been to Aspen. It's the best place to stop around noon after strolling through all the shops in downtown. It's authentic and delicious, down-home good food.

It's great for kids or for a sweetie, or even a group (like these random folks I found at Flickr). One side is essentially the bar and the other is the eating area. It's nice and conversational in the back. The prices are nominal and even affordable by Aspen standards.

I've been at least five times... I go at least once each visit now that I know about them. It makes for a nice tradition.

Voted Aspen's best old restaurant and best burger (in '99), the year is 2001 and Boogies beats it by a mile. The burger was not as juicy, the mashed taters were lumpy and cold and the waitress had an attitude.
