The Bubble Room

This was actually my favorite dining experience on our Captiva trip, even though The Mucky Duck had a better reputation in Captiva Village. The atmosphere was just really fun. The Bubble Room was completely decked out with antique junk that had a theme of old Hollywood stuff and Christmas stuff. It was very busy every night, so you did have to get on the list and just wait for about 45 minutes. But it was worth it.

They make really strong margaritas, so just get bombed while you wait and have a good time. As soon as we were seated, they brought out some really special garlic bread (and fresh cinnamon rolls too--kinda strange). Then you can order from what looked like an excellent choice of seafood dishes. The most affordable option they had, which I thought was great, was an option to get a salad, a choice from their really great appetizers, and a very special dessert choice. Since I noticed that they have these really fancy-looking desserts, I got this option. It was actually a ton of food and was really great. I had the scallops with mushrooms and an enormous piece of cake. I would recommend it for sure.

The Bubble Room is like nothing you have ever experienced before--it is just so out-of-this-world. I highly recommend it--enjoy.

This is a must for the children, although I must say that I liked it, too! I can best describe it as walking into an I Spy children's book. They really enjoyed it and wanted to go back every night.

Unless you have a problem with over stimulation - this is a required stop for visitors to Captiva Island, FL. Trains whistle overheard, christmas bubbble-lights glow and the antique toys can distract the most attentive dinner guest mid-conversation!
BIG-FUN

The Bubble Room is a fun place for everyone. They have very good food. They have a sizzling garlic steak that is huge and good. My favorite are the pork chops. They are delicious. Grouper in a Bag is also very good. They serve sticky buns with your meal. The desserts are huge. I recommend the Red Velvet Cake. The servers are dressed in silly outfits. I's a fun place to visit and have a good dinner at the same time.
