The Montana Grill is an excellent example of a traditional Brazilian churrascaria restaurant. The food is great and abundant, and the personnel are warm, friendly, and attentive. Be sure to try a delicious traditional caipirinha cocktail; made from cachaça, a fermented and distilled sugar cane spirit. This drink is very unique to Brazil, but is similar to the Mojito from Cuba. Their whipped papaya dessert with Creme de Cassis is the perfect finish to a wonderful meal. Hope you enjoy this stop as much as I did.

The food was great. It was a rodizio type of restaurant. They are known in Brazil as churrascarias. Over 20 different cuts of meat are served. There are also all types of salads that you can choose from, in a buffet-type setup. Once you sit, the waiters will start bringing all the different cuts of meat that you can choose from. Picanha is my favorite--very tasty and soft. It is very popular in Brazil. It was well-accompanied by a caipirinha. Caipirinha is the typical alcoholic drink from Brazil. It has sugarcane alcohol, lime, ice, and sugar. I highly recomend this restaurant if you are in Sao Paulo.
