Feijoada, a very Brazilian traditional dish derived from the slave days centuries ago and very good. It is served with black beans and has alot of flavor.

For the non-meat eaters, you should cheat just this once to try a meal you may never try again.

The dish includes White rice, stewed kale, fried manioc, breadcrumbed banana, fried Peperoni sausage, toasted bacon, grilled pork cutlets, fried manioc meal, spiced bean sausage, sliced oranges and a jar of "Batida de limão" (a typical Brazilian drink made of lemon and alcohol). The cost is $17.00 and will fill you up. The rest of the feijoada is made of beef and pork.

You might consider if possible to take your food "take out." The price for takeout for two is about $24.00. They also serve Italian foods and other varieties as well.
