Max's is located on the second floor in Beach Place at A1A & Los Olas Blvd. I am writing specifically about the lunch special during specific hours-- $4.99 for anything on the menu. The food was the best we got while in the area and the best bargain! It is casual during the day, as many come from the beach directly across the street - I would expect dinner to be a bit less casual. A real lunch bargain for excellent food and desserts! Try the chocolate souffle!

I could have ordered every item on the menu. There was an interesting and varied selection, with large servings of all the Italian favourites, but some Spanish and other dishes also. It's beautiful on warm nights when you can sit outside. Dessert is a must, so leave room. They have happy hour all day, which includes two-for-one cocktails and three-for-one beers and house wines. I have never heard of anything like it. This place is listed in the Entertainment book for Fort Lauderdale too. I'd rate it an 8.5 out of 10.
