On the Border is a nicer Mexican chain restaurant. I have eaten at the one in Kennesaw, but I bet they are all basically the same.
The inside of the Kennesaw location is colored an earthen orange with sombreros hanging on the walls. Margueritas are a specialty of the bar. The service was very attentive (almost too attentive) the day that we ate at On the Border, and the restaurant seemed to have a sizable waitstaff which is always good. The food was okay. It was what one expects from a chain restaurant. Good but not great. My son liked the very inexpensive kid's meal he ate, however, because it came with a chocolate Sundae!
We walked in and were seated quickly on a weeknight early in the evening. All restaurants on Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw (suburb north of Atlanta) are crowded and require a wait on the weekends. In fact, this can be said about almost all restaurants that are worth going to in the Atlanta area!
