This is the second time Dan and I have eaten at the Fairways. Both times, the food and service were excellent. The prices are average for this type of restaurant. I would recommend stopping in on your next visit to Massanutten.

This place had excellent service and was conveniently located at the Mountainside Golf Course and Recreation Center. There was a good variety of food, ranging from burgers to steaks to Atlantic sea bass. There were nice healthy choices, as well as good ventilation for nonsmokers. This is also a bar located in restaurant that is good while you’re waiting to be seated or after the 18th hole. There is a kid’s menu also available.

The food was excellent, with nice appetizers, like a cheese crab dip, and of course, the regulars, like bruschetta. Main dishes were served promptly and cooked to your preference. The desserts were very nice, specifically the blueberry flan (my wife just loved it!)

The restaurant provided good food in a relaxing atmosphere. The lunch menu also provided casual meals for both children and adults at reasonable prices. They also accommodated our large party.

Casual, pleasant atmosphere. Service and food were good. Tends to get a bit crowded because it is the only restaurant on site at this resort. Great Martinis. Very kid friendly and nice for a nineteenth hole drink.

We dined at this place twice during our stay. The first time the silverware was dirty, and was replaced. We arrived around 4:30 when the restaurant takes a break to prepare for 5:00 dinnertime. They let you sit in the bar for a drink (soda, and beer). We sat there until they started taking people. We were upset because people started to walk in and be seated before us, who were patiently waiting there before them.

Overall, food is good. When ordering chicken tenders and you’re an adult, make sure you say adult portion, otherwise you only get two pieces of chicken (strips). Great when you don’t want to leave resort property and risk getting lost!
