This beachfront guest-house is the perfect place for an intimate dinner. The menu is healthy and varied, the portions generous, and the prices reasonable. Items range from macrobiotic entrees to Puerto Rican cuisine to Oriental dishes. Their pumpkin soup is surprisingly delicious; their fruit frappes are a must try.
The best thing about this small restaurant, however, is the atmosphere. Dim lighting, an understated wood motif, and large windows that overlook the quiet Ocean Park beach make for a perfect dining experience. Try to get there a little before sunset for a special treat!
Tip: Because it is located in a gated community, Hosteria del Mar is hard to get to. Call for detailed directions.
